What changed: Google Workspace announced that interactive apps created in the Gemini app can now be exported via Export > Google Sites, opening directly as a new private Google Sites draft that can be edited, published, and shared like any other Google Site.

Who is affected

Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google account users with access to the Gemini app are covered.

What it means for your business

For businesses using Gemini and Google Sites, this means an interactive app built in Gemini can be turned into a shareable website for a team or customers without rebuilding it or writing code.

What to do

If you want to share an interactive app you built in the Gemini app, select Export > Google Sites, then edit and publish the resulting draft; confirm Google Sites is turned on for your organization and that you can create or edit sites.

When it takes effect

Available now on web, Android, and iOS for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains, as announced October 19, 2026.
