This page explains how to cancel an order and how payments are refunded for projects, services and digital products bought on castintech.com. The Managed WordPress service has its own contracts.
Individual buyers: right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day it is made, without giving a reason and without paying a penalty. For services, this period starts on the day the contract is made.
It is enough to tell us of your decision in writing or by e-mail before the period ends: [email protected], or by post to the address on the contact page. You can use the withdrawal form annexed to the regulation or send a message that states your decision clearly.
Within 14 days of your withdrawal notice reaching us, all payments collected are refunded to the card you paid with, in one go and without any charge to you.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal cannot be used in these cases:
- Services whose work started, with your explicit agreement, before the withdrawal period ended. This agreement is asked for with a separate box in the purchase step and is repeated in the order confirmation e-mail.
- Services carried out instantly online and digital products delivered to you instantly (for example a software licence that is activated when you buy it). This is also stated on the product page and in the order summary.
If we cannot provide the service
If we learn that your order has become impossible to carry out, we tell you in writing within 3 days of learning it and refund all payments collected within 14 days of that notice at the latest.
If we do not do the work within the promised time, you can terminate the contract; all payments collected are then refunded with statutory interest within 14 days of your termination notice reaching us.
Business buyers
Purchases made for trade or professional purposes carry no right of withdrawal; cancellation and refunds follow the principles below.
- Cancellation before work starts: 90% of the amount paid is refunded within 14 days of your cancellation notice reaching us; 10% is retained to cover payment and preparation costs.
- Cancellation after work has started: the value of the items in the quotation delivered up to the cancellation date is deducted, and the rest is refunded within 14 days of your cancellation notice reaching us.
- If the cancellation is on our side, the payment for the part of the work not done is refunded.
- If you received a personal quote with a different cancellation clause, the quote applies.
How refunds are made
Refunds go back to the card used for payment, through the payment institution PayTR. How long the amount takes to show on your card account depends on your bank.
A correcting invoice document is issued for the refunded amount.
