What changed: Gemini Notebook introduces a guided creation flow with suggested topics, formats and visual styles drawn from users’ sources. Enabling review lets users inspect a slide outline or video producer notes in the Studio panel and submit written feedback before generation. Direct generation remains available for users who prefer to skip review.

Who is affected

All Google Workspace customers using Gemini Notebook are included. Availability also extends to Workspace Individual subscribers and people with personal Google accounts.

What it means for your business

For businesses using Gemini Notebook, this means being able to inspect a presentation’s structure or a video’s producer notes and provide written direction before the final output is generated.

What to do

When creating a presentation or video in Gemini Notebook, enable “Review outline” or “Review producer notes”; inspect the draft in the Studio panel and enter written feedback before generating the final output.

When it takes effect

Gradual rollout for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains began on October 16, 2026; feature visibility can take up to 15 days.
